TOWNSHEND HOCKEY BOARDING CAMPS IN SOUTHERN MAINE
Townshend Hockey will be operating our Boarding Camps at the University of Southern Maine (USM Gorham). Gorham, Maine is just two hours from Boston and only 15 minutes from Portland International Jetport. We will also be near beautiful ocean beaches, lakes and shopping. pre-camp training program
Our Boarding Camps will feature our NEW 6 week MANDATORY Pre-Camp training program.
6 weeks prior to camp you will receive our pre-camp strength and conditioning program. There will be daily time commitments ranging from 30 minutes to 45 minutes per day.
This home program will be crucial training for your child as it will give him/her a much-needed head start in their preparation for success in our grueling camp curriculum.
This is a feature that is truly unique to Townshend Hockey and cannot be found at any hockey school in North America.
Typical Day at our Boarding Camps
6:30 AM - Wake Up
7:00-7:30 - Breakfast
8:00-10:00 - Ice
10:20-Noon Off Ice: Strength/Speed Training
Noon-12:30 - Lunch
1:00-3:00 - Ice
3:20-5:30 - Off Ice: Stickhandling/Shooting
5:30-6:15 - Dinner
6:15-7:00 - Coaches Corner
7:00-8:30 - Activity
8:30-9:30 - Free Time
9:30-10:00 - In Rooms
10:00 PM - Lights Out
